FAQ on Internet Banking Product of IOB

1. What is Indian Overseas Bank's Internet Banking?

- Indian Overseas Bank's Internet Banking is an online banking service that allows customers to perform various banking transactions and services over the internet securely.

2. How do I register for Indian Overseas Bank's Internet Banking?

- To register for Internet Banking, visit the Indian Overseas Bank's website and click on the Internet Banking registration link. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process, which typically involves providing your account details and creating login credentials.

Registration as Individuals

Step 1:

  • Login to www.iobnet.co.in
  • Click on "Register" below "Personal Login" if you are an individual or a proprietary firm. Else click on "Register" below "Corporate Login".
  • Enter basic information including 15 Digit Account Number, Email ld, Country and Mobile Number. Create Internet banking Login id and enter password of your own choice then submit.
  • You will be given option to opt for Self- Activation or Activation through Branch. You can proceed with any one of the options.
  • If you select Self-Activation, you will be required to enter the following details:

1. Debit Card Number

2. Expiry date of the debit cord

3. Debit Card PIN

  • On submitting above details, OTP will be sent to your registered mobile no. On successful verification of OTP and card details, internet banking will be approved and activated without fund transfer facility.
  • If required, you can activate fund transfer facility using "Change Fund Transfer" option provided under "Edit Profile" tab after login to Internet Banking.
  • You have to generate Fund Transfer PIN at "Forgot PlN/Generate PlN" option provide under "Edit Profile" tab after login to Internet Banking.
  • You can assign daily fund transfer limit up to Rs.10 Lakh at "Change Daily Limit" option provide under "Edit Profile" tab after login to Internet Banking.
  • If you select Activation through Branch, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. On verification of OTP, internet banking branch approval form will be downloaded for you to take printout.
  • If you are not eligible for self-activation, you will be directed for activation through Branch, and an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. On verification of OTP, internet bonking branch approval form will be downloaded for you to take printout.
  • Submit the internet banking branch approval forms to the Account holding branch.
  • Your account will be activated by the branch on receipt of the signed application form.

Step 2:

  • Login with your password.
  • Passwords are case sensitive (b is different from B)
  • Login Password & transaction PIN are different where password is used to login and PIN for funds transfer.
  • Please be careful while entering your passwords, as your online account may be blocked for entering consecutive wrong passwords.

Registration Process for Corporates

Step 1:

  • Login to www.iobnet.co.in
  • Click on "Register" below Corporate Login.
  • During registration Authorised Signatory customer id and the details attached to that customer id has to be provided.
  • Once registered submit the application form and the annexures provided under Download Forms (in case of Companies/Partnership firms/Societies/Trusts) to your branch
  • An active E-mail id and mobile number is necessary to open internet banking.
  • Your login id will be activated by the branch on receipt of the application

Step 2:

  • Login with your password.
  • Passwords are case sensitive (b is different from B)
  • Login Password & transaction PIN are different where password is used to login and PIN for funds transfer.
  • Please be careful while entering your passwords, as your online account may be blocked for entering consecutive Three wrong passwords.
