IOB Multi Currency Prepaid Travel Card

IOB Multi Currency Prepaid Travel Card is a prepaid card which can be loaded with multiple currencies on a single card. It acts as a replacement to physical currency and Travellers cheque.

  • Hassle Free Journey Abroad:

Indian Overseas Bank offers Multi Currency Prepaid Travel Card to provide a hassle free and convenient payment experience to our customer who travel extensively.

  • One Card Multiple Currencies:

The card can be loaded with six currencies, viz. AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, SGD, USD.

  • Single Card for Multiple Destination:

So by carrying a single card kit, different destination across the globe can be travelled.

  • Protection from Currency Fluctuation:

With locked in exchange rates, customer will be protected from currency fluctuations and no need to pay cross currency charges as well.

  • Validity:

Validity of the Forex Card is as embossed on the card during which you can reload and use it for multiple trips.

  • Security:

 The card is EMV Chip compliant providing better security features.

  • Accessibility:

The card can be used worldwide*, at ATMs displaying the MasterCard Acceptance Mark, as well as MasterCard merchants, including shops, restaurants. No need for waiting for bank opening hours or lengthy queues to access the funds whilst travelling.

  • Maximum Load Value Allowed:

 As per the RBI / FEMA guidelines under Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) per Financial Year.

  • Notification Alerts:

Card Holder will receive instant alert for every transaction in his registered mobile number and email address.

  • Back Up Card facility:

The IOB Travel Card kit contains two cards & respective PIN mailers. One is primary card & the second one is replacement card, called Companion card. In case the card holder loses/misplaces the primary card or the primary card is damaged, replacement card can be activated easily.

  • Card Holder Self Care Portal:

Customer will be able to 1) View Card balance, 2) View and download account statement,3) Block primary card & activate backup card in case of primary card loss/damage through Activate paired device option in the Customer Self Care Portal.

Form A2.

Copy of relevant pages of Passport.

Ticket Copy.

Visa Copy (Optional).

Form I 20 (for students) in case of students going to US for higher studies.

LRS Format - In case amount is released under Liberalized Remittance Scheme (LRS).

Other document/details as required by Branch

Note: - Card cannot be used in India, Nepal and Bhutan as per FEMA guidelines. The Card cannot be used in countries subject to economic sanctions, including: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and other countries notified from time to time.
